Each circle represents an athletic marker cone you find in abundance on a soccer training pitch. Points x, y, and z can lead to some confusion. Because these points don't have a circle on the map they are not represented by a marker cone on the court and don't effect spy travel. The Mage does use these points to cast spells however.
Someone asked about the maximum number of giants that could be put in play. I didn't have the answer until I did a road span count. The count is 23, possible to get to using a 3 spell combination ( Bildebig, Time's Blessing, The Librarian's Bench ) though unlikely.
Should there be a limit to the total cones available to be put in play? Perhaps. They do come in packs of 50; This might be a good practical limit.
